In this ongoing series of works, Barney elevates purely physical/carnal selfie images created to lure by re-framing them within mirrors, imbuing them with an air of examination, re-evaluation and introspection.
Refuting that online selfies are only objectifying or narcissistic but that they are a way to extend personal agency and freedom, explore a vulnerable side, and find a connection in ways not always available IRL.
